Teddie can be deemed as many things, cute, amusing, annoying, innocent, impish, the list goes on.
Teddie is a rather cheerful sort of fellow for the most part, with a friendly disposition and an obvious innocent air surrounding his words and actions. This may be due in part to the fact that he honestly only recently gained a personality at all, perhaps due to originally being a shadow that unlike other shadows, didn't hate humans and eventually formed it's own thoughts and a new form that wouldn't scare them.
He is prone to absorbing everything he hears around him (Like a sponge @A@) and then repeating it whether he actually understands it or not (9 times out of 10 he doesn't, and the one time he does... He probably still doesn't entirely get it OTL). Sometimes, it gets to the point that a phrase or word LOSES ALL MEANING. This can be both amusing, and annoying for the people around him (not to mention embarrassing/awkward when he flirts endlessly without actually knowing what he's flirting for or what scoring with girls is >_>;;), but there isn't much you can do since he obviously doesn't know any better (Or does he o_0)... Teddie's words and actions are often accompanied by grand flourishes and waves, either for dramatics or simply due to how much energy the young man seems to have. This, along with a wide variety of facial expressions, make him seem rather like a hyper-active, ever curious child.
Ted's innocent optimism also presents itself in his opinions, such as when food or actions are called into question. If something tastes or seems good, he'll chirp out his praises cheerfully with enthusiasm. But... He'll do the exact same thing if something is awful, like it's wonderful that someone could do something just that badly. So it's possible he doesn't quite understand the concept of good vs. bad, or compliments vs. insults. The only other possibility, and just as likely, is that he just enjoys his new life so much that every experience is amazing 8\... His enthusiasm for life seems to manifest itself in the strangest ways.
When Teddie feels and displays emotions, it's more than a little apparent. Anything he feels, he appears to feel quite strongly. Be it anger, joy, worry, or depression, you can definitely see/hear that it's there. If he's happy or excited about something, he'll shout it to the sky and make sure EVERYONE knows. While these seem to be his most obvious feelings, the bear is also very likely to fall into rather serious or sad moods. Ted might TRY to hide it on occasions, or drift into the background when depressed, because he is actually a very uncertain, lonely being due to how he came to exist. More than once he has questioned his existence and place in the world, wondering if he belongs anywhere around people or not. Luckily, Teddie has found friendship and people who genuinely care for him enough to bring him back from this and re-affirm his existence.
He cares very deeply for these friends, and will go out of his way to protect them, even if he isn't entirely sure how to go about it at that particular moment in time. It's more likely that he'll jump headlong into a situation without thinking of a strategy beforehand, but the fact that he means well and is willing to do whatever he can to protect them is touching in a sense. Failing is something that is taken very hard by Teddie, as he seems to practically take it personally. The bear thinks the world of these people, and their opinions which he can also take to heart. Mood shifting rapidly if he thinks they are unhappy with him or have changed their minds on him altogether. It just goes to show how much these people mean to him, after all they've gone through together.
Teddie has several other notable quirks that stand out. His preferences and views of the world are obviously confused and rather eccentric. The bear doesn't appear to be that conscious of gender specifics such as clothing, as his first outfit upon gaining a human body was from the woman's department of Junes. According to Chie and Yuki he got quite excited while they took him through the woman's section. Plus, during a school event, he was quite on board with the idea of participating in a reverse beauty pageant in which he cross-played in a very 'Alice in Wonderland' like outfit. So he doesn't appear to put a lot of effort into thinking a whole lot about that sort of thing.
Another quirk in his personality seems to present itself in his speech patterns, he is noted for making terrible puns revolving around the word bears, or related bear-like things in general. Not that he doesn't make bad jokes in general to begin with, honestly he seems to be something of a little joker between all these puns and random silly actions (knowingly or not). He clearly tries to be funny, and the results vary. It's a strange combination of cute, strange, and sometimes plain annoying in some people's opinions. Teddie also has been known, for whatever reason, to throw out random phrases in French (probably just because they sound fancy 8|...).
Finally, Teddie is very honest. If he makes a promise, he will do everything he can to keep it. Even if he doesn't particularly want to any more, he believes in following through with what he says unless someone convinces him otherwise, which at times can be very difficult to do.
[Specialties/Abilities]
Teddie has some skills with fighting, though he appears to be pretty clumsy at times, prone to falling over due to a lack of balance, but often enough he seems to get lucky with his hits just the same. He wields claws for an attack weapon, while in his bear suit (OF SHINING ARMOR butnotreally) during battle, his attack skills range from wide swipes, to spinning lunges.
Teddie is somewhat crafty at times, and likes to make things to amuse himself in his spare time. This little hobby resulted in the creation of special eye glasses to help his friends see through the fog in his world.
Teddie has the ability to summon his persona Kamui (after a maxed star social link, before that it was known as Kintoki-Doji) A large white round metallic creature, with rather short little legs and long claws, a red cape and a missile-like tail. It's abilities center around ice, healing and buffing.
(Mun is more than willing to power down this summon, or leave it behind if it seems unlikely that he can use it in the house. It isn't the tv world after all, so I'm not entirely sure how to play that. Also, I would limit it to 4 abilities from Kamui's skill tree, of what ever level/degree that seems acceptable! He claims that he's able to sniff out and find someone if he has enough information to go on to get on their sent. Rather like a bloodhound, but it grows a little less accurate and convenient as the game progresses. Eventually, Rise takes over tracking down victims with her persona.
